Flemming Building Fire

At around 1:26pm on March 14th, 2013, the PWFD initiated signal 10 procedures for a working structure fire on 1 Herbert Ave.

Detectives from the Nassau County Police Department have determined the fire started due to workers on the roof improperly using blow torches.

Special thanks to all of the neighboring departments who assisted the PWFD in fighting the fire and covering Port Washington.
