At 17:56 on December 22, 2011 the Port Washington Fire Department received a signal 8 alarm for a truck fire.

Responding units found a fully involved landscaping truck. The fire was quickly brought under control.

The cause of fire was determined to electrical in nature originating in the engine compartment.
